PROMOTERS’ DETAILS
· This competition is being run by Zurich Financial Services Australia Limited (ABN 11 008 423 372) 118 Mount St, North Sydney NSW 2060 (Zurich) in conjunction with Melbourne Football Club (ABN 27 005 686 902) Melbourne Cricket Ground, Great Southern Stand, Brunton Avenue, East Melbourne, VIC 8002 Australia (MFC) and Breast Cancer Network Australia (ABN 16 087 937 531) Level 1, 293 Camberwell Rd, Camberwell, VIC 3124 (BCNA).
· For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, both Zurich, MFC and BCNA may be collectively referred to as the (Promoters).
ELIGIBLE ENTRANTS
· To enter this competition, an entrant must meet the requirements set out below.
· An individual (Eligible Entrant) may enter on behalf of themselves, immediate family members, and friends. By participating in this competition, Eligible Entrants agree to abide by all rules and regulations outlined by Promoters. Eligible Entrants also affirm that they, along with their immediate family members and friends, are eligible to participate according to the criteria set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
· An Eligible Entrant must:
· be over the age of 18 years at the date of entering the competition, or have permission from their parent or legal guardian to enter; and
· must reside in Australia.
· A limit of one entry, per individual to the competition applies. In the case of multiple entries from an individual being received, only one entry received will be considered.
· This competition is open to employees of MFC, Zurich and BCNA.
HOW TO ENTER
· The competition period commences at 12.01am AEDST on 30 April 2024 and ends at 11.59pm 30 May 2024 (competition period), and the Promoters reserve the right to extend the competition period at any time (subject to regulatory approval, if required).
· To enter the competition, Eligible Entrants must during the competition period, visit the competition page and correctly complete all mandatory fields housed within the competition page. Link to entry page here (insert link when available).
· Eligible Entrants may nominate either themselves or another deserving individual, (such as a family member or friend) to win prizes, which includes having their name featured on a personalized Melbourne Football Club run-out t-shirt for the Round 15 Melbourne Demons v North Melbourne game on 22 June 2024. On the competition page is a requirement to fill in a 50 word or less answer as to who you have nominated and why they deserve to win.
· Eligible Entrants must fill in their full name, contact number, email address, and state as a requirement as this information will be used to contact winners.
· No late entries will be accepted.
· Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and may be rejected. The Promoters reserves the right to disqualify any entry where it reasonably suspects that such materials are prohibited by these Terms and Conditions, any relevant law, or are otherwise deemed inappropriate. This is at the Promoters’ absolute discretion.
PRIZES
· There are forty-two (42) prizes available. Each prize includes:
o 1 x Melbourne Football Club run-out t-shirt personalised with the winner’s first name, family name, loved one’s name, or nickname displayed on the top for Round 15 Melbourne Demons v North Melbourne scheduled for 22 June 2024 at the MCG. Availability: The personalized Melbourne Football Club run-out t-shirts are available in limited sizes and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis;
o 4 x complimentary tickets for the ‘Pink Lady Bay’ at Round 15 Melbourne Demons v North Melbourne on 22 June2024 at the MCG; and
o an invitation to participate in the pre match Guard of Honour on the MCG, at Round 15 Melbourne Demons v North Melbourne 22 June 2024 at the MCG.
· Each prize has an estimated retail value of $289 AUD each.
· The total estimated prize pool equals $12,138 AUD, based on minimum prize pool of 42 winners.
· It’s the Promoters’ sole discretion to increase or decrease the number of run out t-shirts throughout the 2024 AFL season. Should the Promoters increase t-shirts the winners will be selected from the existing pool of eligible competition entrants.
· The prize will not be transferable to another person without consent of the Promoters.
· No part of a prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize.
· If the prize is not available for any reason, the Promoters reserve the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value if the winner agrees in writing and subject to any written directions from any applicable regulatory authority. If the winner does not agree despite reasonable attempts by the Promoters to reach an agreement and the prize is not available due to circumstances beyond the Promoters’ reasonable control, the Promoters may substitute the prize with another item or items determined by the Promoters to be of equal or higher value.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
· Forty-two (42) eligible entrants will be selected to pair with one of the forty-two (42) Melbourne Football Club AFL players' during the 2024 season.
· This competition is a game of skill.
· Winners will be chosen by a judging panel selected by the Promoters, including a representative from MFC, Zurich and BCNA.
· Judges will evaluate each eligible entry based on the originality, authenticity, and creativity provided in the competition form.
· The judging panel will review all entrants on a weekly basis during the competition period.
· Winners will be notified by email or telephone by MFC.
· Winners will be required to provide a contact name and postal address for the Melbourne Football Club Run Out T-shirt to be mailed if unable to attend Round 15, Melbourne Demons v North Melbourne on Saturday, 22 June 2024.
· The results of the draw will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the judges’ decision.
· You may be assigned a player who is not selected for Round 15, Melbourne Demons v North Melbourne on Saturday, 22 June 2024 and therefore may not appear at the game.
SECOND CHANCE DRAW
· If a winner does not respond within 7 days of being notified that they have won a ‘Play for BCNA’ run out t-shirt and reasonable efforts have been made by the Promoters to contact the winner, then the winner will automatically forfeit their prize and the Promoters reserve the right to select an alternative winner from existing entrants.
PROMOTION AND MARKETING
· By entering the competition, the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as the Promoters may require without remuneration.
· Activity may include but is not limited to; filming or photography of the winners, profiling winner stories and publishing this material on MFC, Zurich and BCNA media and/or social media channels.
· Should promotional requests involve persons under the age of 18, the Promoters and the winner will seek appropriate permission from the child’s guardian before commencing promotional activity.
· The winner also consents to the use and publication of their name and any other details provided by the winner in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winner.
· There is no requirement for entrants to be policyholders or customers of Zurich and/or its related bodies corporate.
· Entrants are not obliged to donate, maintain membership with, or otherwise establish any affiliation with Zurich, BCNA or MFC.
· All entrants have the ability to opt out of ongoing communications at any time.
STANDARD TERMS
· Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. If you enter the competition, the Promoters will assume that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you agree to them.
· The Promoters reserve the right to amend the competition and its Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approval (if required) and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the competition landing page.
· It is the entrant's responsibility to regularly check the competition landing page for any amendments. Any amendments will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of the Promoters.
· If the competition is not capable of running as planned including by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond the Promoters’ control, the Promoters may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries, to the extent permitted by law.
· The Promoters do not accept responsibility for any entries that are delayed, or which are not received for any reason during the competition period.
· The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any entrant that they believe to have tampered, altered, unfairly gained an advantage or unjustly manipulated a competition entry. The Promoters’ decision is absolute and final with no conversation to be entertained.
· Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy conferred on you by any applicable Australian law which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.
· Privacy Notice: Zurich, MFC and BCNA will collect your personal information so you can enter, and they can administer, this promotion. Your personal information is required for the Promoters to contact you in the event that your entry is selected as a winning entry. The Promoters may also use your information for future marketing and promotional purposes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to the Promoters and its related corporate bodies for these purposes.
