Definitions
|
Community Club - Means an entity licensed or authorised to field a team in an Australian football league, excluding the 18 AFL clubs licensed to play in the Toyota AFL Premiership Season and 18 AFLW clubs licensed to play in the NAB AFLW Premiership Season.
AFL Fan – A person who plays, watches or is interested in the sport of Australian rules football.

Entry Instructions
|
To enter, entrants must satisfy the criteria set out in the “Entry Restrictions” below and during the Promotion Period:
a) go to the Competition Website www.afl.com.au/aamiclangersforgood
b) complete all required fields in the web entry form including, but not limited to, personal details, club details including Community Club details (if entry is on behalf of a Community Club), Community Club officeholder details, location, phone and email address.

c) Opt in, during the entry process to receive communications and be contacted by the Promoter and support agencies and not opt out during the Promotion Period;
d) Tick the box to confirm you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions; and
e) Once completed, hit the submit button to submit entry,
(“Eligible Entrant”).
Limit of one entry per AFL Fan. Any subsequent entry from the same person after the first valid entry is received will be deemed invalid.

Entry Restrictions
|
Entry is open to AFL fans and Community Clubs in Australia as defined in the ‘Definitions’ section above. Entrants must be aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or of the agencies or organisations associated with this Promotion, including Engage Interactive Pty Ltd (the “Promotions Partner”), are not eligible to enter.

Winner Determination Details

Winner determination process
|
This is a contest of skill, judged on criteria set by the Promoter as set out in these Terms and Conditions. Each valid entry will be individually judged and will be at the sole discretion of the Promoter. The criteria for judging will be based on, amongst other things, the originality, relevance of the answer to the question and writing style. Chance will not play a role in determining the competition winners.

Winner Judgement
|
The Promoter will select one winning AFL Fan and one winning Community Club from Eligible Entrants each week throughout the Promotion Period.
The judging for this competition will take place at AAMI Level 23, 80 Ann Street, Brisbane QLD 4000 at 10:00 am on the following dates:

Prizes
|
The selected winners will receive the following prize:
· Community Club $10,000.00 prize money
· AFL Fan $2,500.00 prize money
The total prize pool for the Promotion is AUD $100,000.00.

Prize Terms
|
Winning Eligible Entrants are required to provide bank account details, which will be collected by the Promotions Partner in order to claim the prize. The bank account must be in the name of the winning Eligible Entrant (including registered Community Club) and not a third party. Verification may also be required – see Terms and Conditions for details.

The Promotions Partner will be responsible for contacting the winning Eligible Entrants.
Winning Eligible Entrants will:
- be notified by email and by phone using the details provided in their online entry within two [2] business days of the winner's judgement date.
- be announced on Channel 7 during the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season broadcasts (see Winner Judgement table)

Terms and Conditions
1. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (including the Schedule). Any terms used in these Terms and Conditions have the meaning given in the Schedule, except where stated otherwise.
Entry
2. Entry to Promotion is open to residents who meet the Entry Restrictions.
3. The Promotion will be conducted during the Promotion Period. To enter, entrants must comply with the Entry Instructions during the Promotion Period. Any entry must be made personally.
4. Entries must be submitted in accordance with the Entry Instructions. Once submitted, entries will not be capable of alteration or deletion.
5. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period. Online electronic entries are deemed received at the time of receipt into the relevant database. The Promoter is not responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries.
6. The cost of accessing the promotional website will be dependent on the entrant’s individual internet service provider.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which includes objectionable content, profanity or other defamatory statements. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner, who breaches these Terms and Conditions, tampers with the entry process, engages in unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or deceptive behaviour (including any behaviour calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion), or damages the goodwill or reputation of the Promoter. This includes, but is not limited, to entrants using multiple email addresses, postal addresses, PO Box addresses. Inaudible, illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will also be deemed invalid.
8. Eligible Entrants warrant and agree that they have created the entry themselves; they will not submit material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, derogatory, abusive, harmful to any person or entity or otherwise inappropriate or offensive.
Prizes
9. The prize(s) is/are specified in the Prize Details, and subject to Prize Terms (including those specified in these Terms and Conditions).
10. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in a prize’s value due to exchange rate changes.
11. Any additional costs not expressly stated but which may be incurred in acceptance and use of a prize are the responsibility of the winner.
12. The Promoter and any related third-party companies and affiliates including the Promotions Partner will not be liable for any loss related directly or indirectly to the prize, including should the winning
13. Community Club or AFL Fan provide incorrect, incomplete or out-of-date bank account details.
10B Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable for any other prize except at the Promoter’s discretion.
Determination and Notification
14. The winners will be notified and announced on broadcast as per the Schedule. The Promoter and the companies/agencies associated with the Promotion may also publish the name of winners on their websites and in trade publications.
15. The prizes will be awarded to the winner named in the valid entry.
16. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the entrant’s sole responsibility to notify the Promoter.
17. The winning entries are selected at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
Claiming Prizes
18. Prizes must be claimed in accordance with instructions set out in the Schedule. If: (i) a prize is not claimed by a winner or the Promotions Partner has been unable (despite reasonable efforts) to successfully contact the winner within 2 business days; or (ii) the Promoter determines a winner to be ineligible to win a prize in accordance with these conditions, the relevant prize will be forfeited and instead awarded to the next Eligible Entrant in accordance with the winner determination process. Any resulting winner(s) will be notified as above. That process will be repeated if required.
19. The Prize can only be awarded to winners (an AFL Fan or Community Club) that is able to verify its identity based on any verification that the Promoter reasonably requires. The Promoter may request that an entrant verify their identity. If verification cannot be completed within a reasonable time as stipulated by the Promoter, the entry/prize claim will be deemed invalid.
Other Terms and Conditions
20 . Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
21. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.
22. The winners agree to participate in all reasonable promotional activity on request (such as publicity and photography) surrounding winning a prize, free of charge.
23. All entrants hereby consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film, and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purposes of promoting this competition, and any products or services supplied by the Promoter.
24. Subject to any rights you may have under any applicable law, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for the following, except to the extent caused or contributed to by our own negligence : (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise; (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition; or (iv) any delay in delivery (when not directly caused by the Promoter or its supplier), or failure of safe delivery of a prize.
25. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, the Promotions Partner, and associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the Competition or a prize, including without limitation: (i) any indirect loss such as loss of business or other profits; and (ii) any liability for personal injury or death. To the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the minimum allowable by law. The Promoter may request that a winner signs and returns a deed of release to this effect as a condition of a prize being awarded. If a winner fails to sign and return such release, they may forfeit the prize.
26. If this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, or is interfered with or disrupted in any way by unforeseen circumstances outside the Promoters’ control (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, weather event, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries.
27. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter (and their agents, including Engage Interactive Pty Ltd) collect, hold, and use the personal information of entrants for the purpose of conducting this competition, and for future promotion of the Promoter’s goods and services in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policies.
28. Entrants’ personal information is collected from entrants by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable the Promoter and its agents to manage, administer and promote the Promotion and, where applicable, publicise the winner(s). The personal information may also be provided to persons assisting the Promoter, including marketing agencies and IT providers, media outlets and related companies. Entry into the Competition also entitles the Promoter and any related companies that use the AAMI brand (“we”/”us”) to let the Entrant know from time to time about news, offers, products and services they might be interested in (by any means, including telephone, email, mail, SMS or online marketing). In order to carry out direct marketing, entrants’ personal information will be collected from and disclosed to others that provide us with specialised data matching, trending or analytical services, as well as general marketing services. We, and other people who provide us with services, may combine the personal information collected from entrants or others, with the information we, or other companies in the Suncorp Group, or our service providers already hold about entrants. We may also use online targeted marketing, data and audience matching and market segmentation to improve advertising relevance. Each entrant agrees that they must provide and/or maintain their consent to receive such marketing communications and not opt out of receiving such communications during the Promotion Period.
29. If an Eligible Entrant does not provide the personal information the Promoter requests, the Promoter may not be able to enter them into the Promotion.
30. Cost of entry is free, but internet connection and usage rates may apply. Eligible Entrants should obtain details of any costs from the service providers
31. Each Eligible Entrant warrants and agrees that:
a. they have created the entry themselves;
b. they are entitled to reproduce and exploit all underlying works in the entry;
c. the entry does not, and use or exploitation of the entry by the Promoter (and each of its assignees and licensees) as contemplated by these conditions will not, violate the rights (including copyright and privacy) of any third person;
d. the entry has not been previously published in any other medium or forum worldwide;
e. they will not submit material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, derogatory, abusive, harmful to any person or entity, or otherwise inappropriate or offensive; and
f. they have not granted rights to their entry to any other person which is inconsistent with the rights granted to the Promoter under these conditions.
32. Entries that are found to have been derived from third party work will be considered invalid and, if awarded a prize, the prize must be returned to the Promoter. Each winner indemnifies the Promoter and its associated companies and agents for any claims, costs, expenses, penalties or damages they incur from reproducing, publishing or otherwise using any part of their entry subsequently found to have been derived in any way from any third party works.
33. Winners acknowledge and agree that the Promoter and the Promotions Partner have the right to edit, amend, copy, reproduce, use, publish, broadcast and communicate to the public the entry in any media including television and the internet without any further consultation, reference, payment or other compensation. Each Eligible Entrant also agrees that they will not make any claim against the Promoter or the Promotions Partner arising from the exercise of these rights.
