HUNGRY JACK’S VIP BOX TICKET GIVEAWAY COMPETITION 2025
1. General
1.1. Information on how to enter and on the Prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these conditions, you must not enter.
1.2. If under 18 years of age, express permission of a parent/guardian is required before entering this competition.
1.3. The Promoter is Indian Pacific Limited (ABN 31 009 178 894) (trading as West Coast Eagles Football Club) of Mineral Resources Park, 42 Bishopsgate Street, Lathlain, WA, 6100. ( West Coast Eagles).
1.4. The Sponsor is Hungry Jack’s Pty Ltd (ABN 25 008 747 073) of Level 6, 100 William Street, Woolloomooloo, NSW, 2011 (“Sponsor”).
(Sponsor and West Coast Eagles will be hereafter jointly referred to as the "Promoter")
2. Entry
2.1. The promotion commences at 5:00am AWST on Friday, February 28, 2025 and closes at 5:00am AWST on Wednesday August 20, 2025 (Promotion Period). During the Promotion Period, the competition will be run in the following Rounds of the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season (each an Eligible Week):

NOTE: *as at the commencement date of this competition, the AFL Fixtures for Round 15 and beyond had not been set. The AFL will release the dates and time for such matches during the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

2.2. The first Eligible Week commences at 5:00am AWST on Friday, February 28, 2025 and closes at 5:00am on 12 March 2025. Each subsequent Eligible Week runs from 5.01am (AWST) on the same day that the previous Eligible Week closed and closes at 5am AWST on the morning of the applicable Closing Date as set out in the table above.
2.3. In each Eligible Week, entry is open to individuals over the age of 16 years who:
a. reside in Western Australia;
b. purchase a large Hungry Jack’s burger (“Qualifying Product”) or a Hungry Jack’s large burger meal, in-store (excluding kiosk orders), via Hungry Jack’s delivery partner channels or ordering site. Note Qualifying Products includes Whopper, Bacon Deluxe, Jack’s Fried Chicken, Grill Masters, Plant Based/Vegan Whopper and small, medium or large meals attached to the Qualifying Product. Excludes small burgers (Cheeseburgers, Whopper Junior, Hamburger, Chicken Royale and all bundle meals on small burger menu items). Delivery orders must be made via Hungry Jack’s’ delivery partner channels, Menulog, Uber Eats or DoorDash;
c. obtain a receipt with a unique entry code from their purchase of the Qualifying Product; and
d. visit westcoasteagles.com.au/whoppertickets, enter the unique entry code found on the receipt on the competition landing page, and input the required fields including the unique entry code (full name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, state of residence and store purchased from and accept the mandatory tick boxes) (“Entry”),
(“Eligible Entrant”).
2.4. Failure to comply with any of the above requirements in clause 2.3 will automatically render an Entry to be invalid.
2.5. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
2.6. Employees and their immediate families, of the Promoter, related companies of the Promoter or agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
2.7. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the competition database and not at the time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay or failure of transmission of any Entry.
2.8. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used.
2.9. Customers are permitted to enter as many times as they wish in each Eligible Week, provided that each Entry requires a separate purchase and unique code. An Entry will only be valid for the Eligible Week in which it was submitted.
2.10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of an Entry or an entrant, and to disqualify any entrant who manipulates, or attempts to manipulate, the system.
3. Prize Winning:
3.1. The competition is a game of chance and skill plays no part.
3.2. In each Eligible Week:
a. the winner will be the first four (4) Eligible Entries selected by the Promoter using an online random number generator (each a ‘Winner’ and collectively the ‘Winners’);
b. the draw will take place at Mineral Resources Park, 42 Bishopsgate Street, Lathlain WA at 9am the applicable closing date set out in the table in clause 2;
c. the Winner will be notified by phone and/or email on the day of the draw by either West Coast Eagles or Hungry Jack’s;
d. the Promoter reserves the right to select reserve entries and record them in the order that they were selected, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant being selected.
f. once four (4) Winners have been selected and contacted by the Promoter, no further prizes will be awarded in that Eligible Week.
3.3. The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
4. Prize
4.1. In each Eligible Week, each Winner will receive the prize, which consists of two (2) tickets to a VIP corporate open box with full catering to the applicable Match set out in the table in clause 2.1 (the “Prize”)
4.2. A Prize (or any element of the Prize) may not be sold or offered for resale at a premium (including via-online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original recipient or any subsequent bearer. If a Prize is sold or used in breach of this condition the Prize may be withdrawn.
4.3. The prize value per Winner in each Eligible Week for this competition is approximately $700. The Prize value is correct at the authorisation date of the competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any subsequent variation in values.
4.4. The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable to another date or person if the Winner is unable to attend the applicable Match or use any portion of the Prize. The Prize is not able to be exchanged for cash or alternative benefits. Should the Winner be found to not meet the entry requirements the prize may be forfeited at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
4.5. If the Winner is under 18, the Prize may be awarded to the parent or legal guardian who consented to the Eligible Entrant registering in the competition, on behalf of that Eligible Entrant, at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
5. Risk, Liability and Conduct
5.1. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the Winner and their guest provide proof of age and identity prior to awarding the Prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. The Winner may be required to sign any form required by the Promoter including, without limitation, a legal release and indemnity form or a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the Prize.
5.2. The Winner is required to comply with any and all reasonable requirements and instructions of the Promoter, the AFL and/or Optus Stadium
5.3. Any failure by the Winner, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, to comply with its requirements or instructions will result in forfeiture of the Prize.
5.4. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs incurred by any Winner or their guest in collecting or using the Prize (or any portion of the Prize) including without limitation any damage incurred to the prize after it has been awarded, or travel costs incurred to obtain the Prize or to attend the Match.

5.6. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies (and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents) will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, claim, action, demand, liability, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever, which is suffered or sustained by any person or entity (without limitation), (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any Prize (or part of the Prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permissible by law).
5.7. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to fraud or causes beyond the control of the Promoter or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
5.8. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
6. Your Information
6.1. The Promoter collects personal information about all entrants, whether Eligible Entrants or not, to enable them to participate in this competition and for any other matter connected to or incidental to this purpose, and the Promoter may disclose the personal information to third parties including the Promoters contractors and agents, suppliers and service providers to assist in conducting this competition or providing the Prize. By registering their interest, entrants agree to the Promoter using and disclosing their personal information for these purposes. If the entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they may be ineligible to enter the competition.
6.2. The Winner and their guest consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the Competition, the Match or the relationship with the Sponsor, or for any other related purpose at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
6.3. The entry form will provide entrants with the ability to ‘opt in’ to share and to allow the West Coast Eagles to use data. If consent is provided, personal information will be used and may be disclosed by the West Coast Eagles for the purposes of carrying out marketing, planning, product development and competition campaigns in any media. By opting in to provide personal information, the entrant (whether an Eligible Entrant or not) agrees to such use by the West Coast Eagles.
6.4. All personal information provided will be stored, used and may be disclosed by the West Coast Eagles in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at www.westcoasteagles.com.au/privacy-policy.
The entry form will provide entrants with the ability to ‘opt in’ to share data with the Sponsor and consent to receive direct email and SMS communications from the Sponsor. The entrant acknowledges that all personal information it consents to share with the Sponsor in connection with this competition will be used and may be disclosed by the Sponsor in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.hungryjacks.com.au/privacy-policy
West Coast Eagles Privacy Policy
1 Who Are We
Your privacy is important to the Australian Football League (ABN 97 489 912 318) (AFL) and each of the 18 AFL Clubs listed in paragraph 12 of this Privacy Policy (AFL Clubs). This Privacy Policy provides information about the personal information that the AFL and AFL Clubs collect and the ways in which the AFL and AFL Clubs may use, hold and disclose this personal information.
The AFL may disclose your personal information to AFL Clubs, and AFL Clubs may disclose your personal information to the AFL. Each organisation will collect and use your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
When used in this document, depending on the context, "we," "our" and "us" refers to AFL and/or the AFL Clubs.
2 AFL and AFL Clubs Privacy Policy
Protecting personal information is fundamental to the AFL’s and AFL Clubs’ relationship with our supporters, employees, players and business partners. All personal information received in connection with an AFL or AFL Club product or service, or in the conduct of the AFL’s or AFL Clubs’ business, is therefore treated seriously, having regard to the AFL’s and the AFL Clubs’ legal obligations.
Personal information is information that identifies you or could identify you. The AFL and AFL Clubs are subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles.
3 Information Collected
Generally, the AFL and the AFL Clubs collect personal information directly from you via your use of the products and services on offer, use of AFL Online (defined in paragraph 9 of this Privacy Policy below) and any registration you make to participate with or receive information from, the AFL or your AFL Club and any business relationship between you and us, including via email. The personal information which the AFL and AFL Clubs collect and hold includes:

By providing us with personal information, you consent to that information being collected, used, disclosed and stored in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
If you do not give personal information to us, it may affect our ability to provide you with products and/or services.
Where we engage with you multiple times over a short period in relation to the same matter, we may not provide you with a separate notice about privacy each time we engage with you however we will provide you with an opportunity to opt–out of receiving communications about that matter within each of those communications.
4 Opt-Out/Unsubscribe
You can easily unsubscribe at any time you want to our communications by contacting us using the contact details specified in paragraph 11 of this Privacy Policy or by following the instructions contained in an e-mail.
It may take some time to put an opt-out or an unsubscribe in effect so you may still receive communications from us for several weeks after your request is received.
For the avoidance of doubt, by opting–out or unsubscribing yourself from a mailing list of an AFL or AFL Club product or service this will ensure your removal from that particular mailing list but will not guarantee your removal from other mailing lists that the AFL or an AFL Club may store your details in as a result of your engagement with a different service or product.
5 Information from Third Parties
During the course of business, the AFL and AFL Clubs may also collect personal information that is given to them by a third party (for example, a corporate partner of the AFL or AFL Clubs or information that is on a publicly maintained record). This information forms part of the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. The AFL and AFL Clubs will not intentionally solicit personal information that is unintentionally disclosed.
We may also receive information about you from third parties in relation to other websites. For example, you may choose to participate in a third party application or feature as part of our services (such as logging in through Facebook Connect or Google+ or otherwise linking to the services from another website or interactive service) or on a third party website or service (such as a Facebook application or a similar application or feature) through which you allow us to collect (or the third party to share) information about you, including personal information. When you choose to participate, you may be opting to link your activity on AFL Online services with that third party website or service, which may then collect information about your visits to AFL Online and may publish that activity as you request to your "profile" or similar feature with that third party (such as if you choose to share content you find on AFL Online with your "connections" on the third party's website or service).
The information we collect is subject to this Privacy Policy. However, the information collected and stored by the third party remains subject to the third party's privacy practices, including whether the third party continues to share information with us or with other third parties, the types of information shared, and your choices with regard to what is visible to others on that third party's website or service. The third party may allow you to remove the application or feature, in which case we will no longer collect information about you through the application or feature, but we may retain the information previously collected. In addition, we may receive information about you if other users of a third party website or service give us access to their profiles and you are one of their "connections" or information about you is otherwise accessible through your "connections'" web page, profile page, or similar page on a social networking or other third party website or interactive service.
6 Public Forums, Refer a Friend, and Customer Testimonials
The AFL and AFL Clubs may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on AFL Online or mobile applications. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. The AFL and AFL Clubs are not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.
7 Storage of Personal Information
Wherever reasonably practicable, the AFL and AFL Clubs will store personal information on data servers that are owned and controlled by the AFL and AFL Clubs and are located within the geographical borders of Australia. However, some of your personal information may be transferred, stored, processed, used or disclosed overseas by the AFL or AFL Clubs, or by the AFL's or AFL Clubs' third party service providers. In particular, at the date this Privacy Policy was most recently updated, your personal information may be disclosed to recipients in the USA, Gibraltar, China and other countries from time to time.
This may happen if our service providers are located overseas, or if transactions, information, services or products have an overseas connection. Where such parties are located overseas, you may have rights to enforce such parties' compliance with applicable data protection laws, but you may not have recourse against those parties under the Australian Privacy Act (Cth) 1988 in relation to how those parties treat your personal information.
You agree to the disclosure and use of such personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and consent to its disclosure overseas and its use by third parties, including our service providers, in the USA, Gibraltar, China and such other countries in which those parties or their computer systems may be located from time to time, where it may be used solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, without us being responsible for such use (or for any breach). Where the AFL and AFL Clubs use cloud computing services we will use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that such disclosures are in compliance with Australian privacy laws.
8 Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
The AFL and AFL Clubs collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information for purposes including, without limitation:
The AFL and AFL Clubs may also disclose personal information where it is otherwise permitted to do so by law.
Where you provide your personal information directly to one AFL Club, although it may be disclosed to the AFL, that personal information will not ordinarily be shared with a different AFL Club. However, there may be some circumstances where this personal information is shared between AFL Clubs. For example, if in a transaction you purchase merchandise relating to two AFL Clubs, that transaction may be disclosed to both AFL Clubs.
You consent to the AFL and AFL Clubs using your personal information for sending you information, including promotional material, about the AFL or AFL Clubs, or the AFL or AFL Clubs' products and services, as well as the products and services of selected third parties, now and in the future. You also consent to us contacting you with such information by means of direct mail, email, SMS, MMS messages, social media and via telephone.
Sharing Information With Third Parties
We engage third parties to perform services in connection with the operation of our business. Examples of these services include payment processing and authorisation, fraud protection and credit risk reduction, product customisation, order fulfilment and shipping, marketing and promotional material distribution, website evaluation, data analysis and, where applicable, data cleansing.
We may need to share personal information with these third parties so that they can perform these services, however, we limit the personal information that we give to them and authorise them to use this information only for the purpose of performing those services.
We may share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our agents, including agencies or third party vendors so that they can provide marketing analysis and consult on advertising strategies. This information does not identify individual users. We also may share non-personal information, such as the number of users who visited AFL Online during a specific time period or who purchased a specific product through the website, with our marketing partners, advertisers and others from time to time. This information generally is shared in an aggregated form.

9 Accessing AFL Online
“AFL Online” refers to the AFL website with its top-level domain located at http://www.afl.com.au/, all related sub-domains and any other AFL website (including any AFL Club website) which provides an AFL and AFL Club product, AFL and AFL Club service or AFL-related product or service including related mobile applications. You need not disclose your identity to the AFL or AFL Club in order to visit AFL Online, except where personal information is voluntarily supplied, however the AFL or AFL Club internet server may automatically record details about any computer used to access the website (such as the IP address, domain name and browser type), the date and time of access, and details of the information downloaded. This information is used for internal statistical purposes and to improve AFL Online.
Cookies
The AFL or AFL Clubs may use “cookies” on AFL Online. A cookie is a small text file that AFL Online may place on your computer. Usually, cookies are used as a means for our websites to remember your preferences and are thus designed to improve your experience of AFL Online. Cookies may collect and store personal information about you.
You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is sent. Each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences.

Website Analytics
When you visit and browse AFL Online, our website host and some third party service providers may collect information for statistical, reporting and maintenance purposes.
Subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy, this information is used to administer and improve the performance of AFL Online and will not be used to identify you. The information may include:
The AFL or AFL Clubs use website analytic services to help analyse how you use AFL Online (Website Analytics). Website Analytics generate statistical and other information about website use by means including but not limited to cookies which are stored on users' computers. The information generated is used to create reports about the use of AFL Online. Our third party providers of these services may store this information. The AFL or AFL Clubs will not (and will not allow any third party to) use Website Analytics to track or to collect any personally identifiable information of visitors to AFL Online. The AFL or AFL Clubs will not associate any data gathered from AFL Online with any personally identifying information from any source as part of the AFL's or AFL Clubs' use of Website Analytics.
The AFL and AFL Clubs treat personal information that may be obtained through cookies and any other information supplied to us (for example if you send us an email) in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

AFL Online may contain links to other websites operated by third parties. We make no representations or warranties in relation to the privacy practices of any third party website and we are not responsible for the privacy policies or the content of any third party website. Third party websites are responsible for informing you about their own privacy practices.
Children’s Privacy
If you are under 18, you should only use AFL Online with involvement of a parent or guardian. For their protection, we ask that anyone under 18 years of age does not attempt to register with AFL Online or otherwise provide us with any personal information without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
10 Information Security
The AFL and AFL Clubs will take reasonable steps to protect all personal information within their direct control from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. The AFL and AFL Clubs will take reasonable steps to hold information securely in electronic or physical form in access controlled premises or in electronic databases requiring logins and passwords.
11 Notifiable Data Breaches Scheme
In the event of any loss, or unauthorised access or disclosure of your personal information that is likely to result in serious harm to you, the AFL and/or AFL Clubs will investigate and notify you and the Australian Information Commissioner as soon as practicable, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
12 Contacting Us Regarding Access, Correction and Privacy Complaints
The privacy laws of some jurisdictions give individuals the right to access, amend or delete their personal information or, in some circumstances, to restrict or object to the processing of their personal information.
Information we hold about you should be up-to-date and accurate. Please advise of any changes to your information using the contact details set out in this paragraph 12.

Access
You will be required to provide proof of identity in order to obtain access to your personal information. If you would like to request a copy of your data, or would like to take steps to exercise your rights, please contact us as set out in this paragraph 12. The AFL may charge an administration fee where access is provided. The AFL may refuse to provide access if permitted to do so by law. The AFL aims to provide access to your personal information within 30 days of a valid request.

14 Updates to Privacy Policy
We may vary this Privacy Policy from time to time, by posting an updated Privacy Policy accessible via the AFL and AFL Club websites. This Privacy Policy was last updated in May 2018.

Hungry Jack’s Pty Ltd (Hungry Jack’s) is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Act), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as well as other laws and codes.
At Hungry Jack’s we understand that privacy is important to our customers and we are committed to ensuring that any personal information about you that we hold is respected and protected at all times.
This Privacy Policy contains information about how we collect, use and store your personal information. It also provides you with information about how you can access your personal information and how you can make a complaint if you believe that there has been a breach of this Privacy Policy, the Act or the APPs.
What we collect
Personal information is defined in the Act to mean any information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or not and whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not.
The type of personal information that we collect depends on how you choose to interact with us. For example, we may collect the following kinds of personal information:
• contact details such as your name, date of birth, delivery address, postcode, gender, email and phone number;
• information about your experience with Hungry Jack’s, including your use of our products and services, for example from general feedback and feedback in relation to your order;
• if you permit us access when using the Hungry Jack's App, your geolocation data;
• if you choose to provide them when using the Hungry Jack's websites and App, your credit card details;
• information you provide to us through customer surveys; and
• complaint details.
Hungry Jack’s may also collect sensitive information about you (for example information about your health or any disability). However, we only do so with your consent and/or as authorised by law.
Why we collect
Hungry Jack’s collects personal information for various purposes that enable us to provide our customers with products and services and improve their Hungry Jack’s experience. The primary purpose of collecting personal information includes to enable us to:
• identify and communicate with our customers;
• market our products and services (for example through special offers, competitions, promotions and special events), including by contacting you via text message, in-app notifications, email or phone;
• offer various benefits to customers via the Hungry Jack's App and website, such as the ability to pre-order meals in-store or deliver to your address, locate nearby restaurants, store meal preferences, delivery address and payment details for future convenience, receive benefits on birthdays, and receive targeted vouchers;
• respond to customer enquiries;
• improve our services through regular feedback from our customers; and
• provide customer support.
You may, in some circumstances, have the option of not identifying yourself or using a pseudonym when you deal with Hungry Jack's. If we do not collect your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the products and services that you require, or the level of service on which we pride ourselves at Hungry Jack’s.
How we collect
The way in which we collect personal information and the sources from which we collect such information depends on how you choose to interact with us. For example, we may collect personal information from or through:
• you placing an order at our restaurants or for delivery;
• you or someone in your family giving us feedback or making a complaint;
• your participation in special offers, competitions, promotions, draws and special events;
• your use of our website, mobile website and App;
• your use of our social media pages such as Facebook and Twitter;
• your use of Wi-Fi at our restaurants;
• online and telephone transactions;
• credit card digital wallet purchases; and
• third parties.
Hungry Jack's may make a record of your visit to our website and log your visit for statistical and business purposes. Such information includes your server address, domain name, IP address, the date and time of your visit, pages accessed, documents downloaded, previous sites visited and the type of browser used.
How we protect personal information
Hungry Jack’s stores personal information in a number of different formats, including software programs (located both onsite and offsite, including in the Cloud), databases, filing systems and in offsite backup storage. Hungry Jack’s is committed to maintaining the safety and security of your personal information and has measures in place so that this can be achieved. These measures include:
• credit card information is tokenized/encrypted with a reputable international payment services provider;
• ensuring that personal information stored in hard copy form is kept under locked security whenever practicable; and
• ensuring that personal information stored in electronic form is password protected and encrypted whenever practicable, and where stored in the Cloud, is stored on servers within Australia and overseas.
How we use and disclose personal information
Hungry Jack’s will only use your personal information as permitted by law. This means that we will only use your personal information for the purposes for which it was collected (such as those referred to above) or for a purpose related, or in the case of sensitive information directly related, to that purpose.
Hungry Jack’s may disclose your personal information to other entities as permitted by law. These include our related bodies corporate, franchisees, agents and third parties who provide services to us or on our behalf, such as our marketing and delivery partners.
Where Hungry Jack's collects your personal information via its websites or App, some personal information may be disclosed to third party analytics companies, including Google and Braze, and, where you log into the websites or App through your Facebook account, to Facebook. The information accessed by such third party entities does not include credit card details. Information in connection with your dealings with Hungry Jack's and your use of Hungry Jack's websites or App may be disclosed overseas, including but not limited to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada[SA1] , New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Serbia, the Netherlands and the Philippines.
Hungry Jack’s does not use any Government related identifiers (such as your driver licence number) as our own identifier for you. However, we may ask you for one of these identifiers so that we can confirm your identity when you deal with us.
Direct marketing
As stated above, one of the primary purposes for which we collect personal information is to contact you via electronic message, mail or telephone about special vouchers or related offers and deals about our goods and services that may be of interest to you. To this end, Hungry Jack’s may use and disclose personal information (other than sensitive information) for the purpose of direct marketing, or facilitating direct marketing. However, we only do so as permitted by law and in circumstances where:
• you have an ongoing relationship with Hungry Jack's for example, through your use of the App or you have consented to such use or disclosure, or the circumstances are such that it is impracticable to obtain such consent; and
• you are given an opportunity to request not to receive direct marketing communications from us, or our marketing partners, and have not made such a request.
If at any time you do not wish to receive direct marketing communications from us you can let us know by contacting us on the details provided below. In relation to any communications received in connection with the Hungry Jack's websites or App, you are able to change the settings through the My Account section and with respect to any other electronic messages you may receive you have the option of "opting-out" of further communications by using the unsubscribe facility that is included in any electronic message.
Accessing, correcting or deleting your personal information
You may access your personal information, request that your personal information be updated, corrected or deleted. You can do this by contacting us on the details provided below and we will endeavour to respond to your request within 30 days. In relation to any personal information collected via the Hungry Jack's websites and App, there are also ways to access and correct certain personal information through the My Account section.
You will not be charged a fee for making a request to access your personal information. However, fees and charges may apply for providing the requested information.
There are certain circumstances in which we may be unable to provide you with access to your personal information. For example where:
• providing access would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy of others;
• the information relates to existing or anticipated legal proceedings and would not be discoverable in those proceedings;
• providing access would reveal our intentions in relation to negotiations in such a way as to prejudice those negotiations;
• providing access would be unlawful;
• denying access is otherwise required or authorised by law; and
• the request for access is frivolous or vexatious.
Where access to your personal information is refused, Hungry Jack’s will nevertheless provide you with written reasons for the refusal. In those circumstances, we may instead provide you with a summary of your personal information.
You may also request that we delete any personal information that we have collected from/about you. However, we may retain personal information as authorized under applicable law, such as personal information required as necessary to provide our services, protect our business and systems from fraudulent activity, to debug and identify errors that impair existing functionality, as necessary for us, or others.
