VCLP or its designated representative will attempt to contact the parent/legal guardian of each selected entrant via phone or email within the first week following the applicable Draw Date. Odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of entries submitted and received in accordance with these Rules prior to the 9:00 AM (Pacific Time) deadline for each respective draw. Non-winning Entries will carry over from one prize selection to the next (for the avoidance of doubt no entrant is eligible to win more than one prize).
NO ONE IS A WINNER UNLESS AND UNTIL THE SPONSOR OFFICIALLY CONFIRMS THEM AS THE WINNER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE RULES. BEFORE BEING DECLARED A CONFIRMED WINNER, the parent/legal guardian of the selected entrant will be required to confirm the selected entrant’s availability and to sign and return VCLP’s Declaration and Release Form in the entrant’s name and correctly answer, unaided, a time‑limited mathematical skill‑testing question (which may, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, be administered online, by email or other electronic means, by telephone, or in VCLP’s Declaration and Release Form).
In addition, by participating and accepting a Prize, each confirmed winner hereby: (i) confirms compliance with these Rules; (ii) acknowledges acceptance of the applicable Prize (as awarded); (iii) releases VCLP and all of the other Released Parties from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, their participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the applicable Prize or any portion thereof; and (iv) agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of: (a) any content submitted in connection with their Entry, and (b) their name, city and province/territory of residence, voice, statements about the Contest and/or photograph or other likeness, without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or on behalf of the VCLP or the Marketing Sponsor in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the internet in connection with the Contest. IMPORTANT NOTE: VCLP may require, in its sole and absolute discretion, that the eligible winner sign and return VCLP’s Declaration and Liability/Publicity Release Form prior to being confirmed as the winner. If an eligible winner: (a) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; (b) fails to return the properly executed Contest documents within the specified time (as applicable); (c) is unwilling to accept any of the conditions set out in this section; (d) cannot accept (or is unwilling to accept) the applicable Prize (as awarded) for any reason; and/or (e) is determined to be in violation of these Rules (all as determined by the VCLP in its sole and absolute discretion), then they will be disqualified (and will forfeit all rights to the applicable Prize) and the VCLP reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and time permitting, to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible Entries submitted and received in accordance with these Rules (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such newly selected eligible winner).
If any selected entrant cannot be contacted as outlined above, or if there is a return of any notification as undeliverable, does not reply within two (2) days of the initial documented contact attempt by VCLP, or if they otherwise fail to comply with the Rules, that entrant will be disqualified and VCLP reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to randomly select a new entrant from amongst the remaining eligible Entries submitted and received in accordance with these Rules (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such newly selected potential winner).
