PERTH AIRPORT’S “WIN A VIP OPEN AIR BOX FOR 10 PEOPLE” COMPETITION
MONDAY 8 JULY 2024 – MONDAY 12 AUGUST 2024
1. General
1.1. Information on how to enter and on the prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these conditions, you must not enter.
1.2. The Promoter is Indian Pacific Limited (ABN 31 009 178 894) (trading as West Coast Eagles Football Club) of Mineral Resources Park, 42 Bishopsgate Street, Lathlain, WA, 6100. (Promoter or West Coast Eagles).
1.3. The Sponsor is Perth Airport Pty Ltd (ABN 24 077 153 130) of Level 2, 2 George Wiencke Drive, Perth Airport, WA, 6105 (Sponsor).
2. Entry
2.1. The competition commences at 10.00am AWST on Monday 8 July 2024 and closes at 5:00am AWST on Monday 12 August 2024 (Competition Period).
2.2. During the Competition Period, entry is open to individuals over the age of 18 years who:
a. are not employees of the Promoter or the Sponsor (or their associated agencies) or an immediate family member of those employees;
b. reside in Western Australia;
c. accurately fills in all the required data fields in the PERTH AIRPORT’S “WIN A VIP OPEN AIR BOX FOR 10 PEOPLE” COMPETITION online entry form on the West Coast Eagles website (Entry); and
d. can attend the round 23 West Coast Eagles vs. Carlton match at Optus Stadium on Sunday 18 August, commencing at 2:40pm (Match),
(Eligible Entrant).
2.3. Failure to comply with any of the above requirements in clause 2.2 will automatically render an Entry to be invalid.
2.4. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
2.5. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the competition database and not at the time of transmission by the Entrant. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay or failure of transmission of any Entry.
2.6. Any cost associated with accessing the competition website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used.
2.7. There is a limit of one Entry per person.
2.8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who manipulates, or attempts to manipulate, the system.
3. Judging
3.1. The competition is a game of chance and skill plays no part.
3.2. At the conclusion of the Competition Period:
a. the winner will be the first Eligible Entrant selected by the Promoter using an online random number generator (Winner);
b. the draw will take place at Mineral Resources Park, 42 Bishopsgate Street, Lathlain WA at 10:00am AWST on Monday 12 August 2024.
c. the Winner will be notified by phone and/or email (at WCE discretion) on the day of the draw;
d. the Promoter reserves the right to select reserve entries and record them in the order that they were selected, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant being selected. For the avoidance of doubt, only one Prize will be awarded.
e. once the Winner has been selected and contacted by the Promoter, no further prizes will be awarded.
f. all reasonable attempts will be made to contact the Winner. If the Winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours after the applicable drawing date and time, the Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will begin the process of contacting reserve winners who will then become the Winner.
3.3. The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
4. Prize
4.1. The Winner will receive the prize, which consists of one 10-seat Open Air Box, including pre-set catering for the West Coast Eagles Round 23 match vs. Carlton at Optus Stadium on Sunday 18 August 2024, commencing at 2:40pm (Prize).
4.2. The Prize must be used on the date notified by the Promoter and is not transferable to another date or game if the Winner is unavailable to attend the Match. The Prize is not able to be exchanged for cash or alternative benefits.
4.3. The Prize (or any element of the Prize) may not be sold or offered for resale at a premium (including via-online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original recipient or any subsequent bearer. If a Prize is sold or used in breach of this condition the Prize may be withdrawn.
4.4. The total prize value for this competition is $4,750 (inc GST).
5. Risk, Liability and Conduct
5.1. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the Winner (and their guests) provide proof of age and identity prior to awarding the Prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. The Winner may be required to sign any form required by the Promoter including, without limitation, a legal release and indemnity form or a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the Prize.
5.2. The Winner and their guests are required to comply with any and all reasonable requirements and instructions of the Promoter and the Sponsor. Any failure by the Winner, or their guest, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter to comply with its reasonable requirements or instructions may result in forfeiture by the Winner of any part or all of the Prize.
5.3. Neither the Promoter or the Sponsor are responsible for any costs incurred by any Winner (or their guest) in collecting or using the Prize including without limitation any travel costs to attend the Match.

5.5. The Promoter, the Sponsor and their associated agencies and companies (and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents) will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, claim, action, demand, liability, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever, which is suffered or sustained by any person or entity (without limitation), (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the Prize (or part of the Prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permissible by law).
5.6. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to fraud or causes beyond the control of the Promoter or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
5.7. Failure by the Promoter or the Sponsor to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
6. Your Information
6.1. The Winner and their guests consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition and for any other purpose related to this competition at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
6.2. The Winner consents to the Sponsor using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition and in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.perthairport.com.au/privacy-policy.
6.3. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to enable them to participate in this competition and may disclose the entrants' personal information to third parties including its contractors and agents, prize suppliers (including the Sponsor, subject to clause 6.5 below) and service providers for the purposes of conducting the competition, redeeming the Prizes and any other matter connected to or incidental to this competition, and to the State and Territory lottery departments as required under the relevant lottery legislation. If the entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they may be ineligible to enter or claim a prize in the competition. All personal information provided will be stored and used by the West Coast Eagles in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at www.westcoasteagles.com.au/privacy-policy.
6.4. The entry form will provide entrants with the ability to ‘opt in’ to share and to allow the Promoter to use data. If consent is provided, personal information will be used and may be disclosed by the Promoter for the purposes of carrying out marketing, planning, product development and competition campaigns in any media. All personal information provided will be stored, shared and used by the West Coast Eagles in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at www.westcoasteagles.com.au/privacy-policy. By opting in to provide personal information, the entrant (whether an Eligible Entrant or not) agrees to such use by the West Coast Eagles
6.5. The entry form will provide entrants with the ability to ‘opt in’ to share data (including personal information and the entrant’s responses to survey questions) with the Sponsor and consent to receive direct email and SMS communications from the Sponsor containing discounts, travel blogs, deals, news, announcements, and competitions and survey and market research invitations. The entrant acknowledges that all personal information it consents to share with the Sponsor in connection with this competition will be used and may be disclosed by the Sponsor in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.perthairport.com.au/privacy-policy.

1 Who Are We
Your privacy is important to the Australian Football League (ABN 97 489 912 318) (AFL) and each of the 18 AFL Clubs listed in paragraph 13 of this Privacy Policy (AFL Clubs). This Privacy Policy provides information about the personal information that the AFL and AFL Clubs collect and the ways in which the AFL and AFL Clubs may use, hold and disclose this personal information.
The AFL may disclose your personal information to AFL Clubs, and AFL Clubs may disclose your personal information to the AFL. Each organisation will collect and use your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
When used in this document, depending on the context, "we," "our" and "us" refers to AFL and/or the AFL Clubs.
2 AFL and AFL Clubs Privacy Policy
Protecting personal information is fundamental to the AFL’s and AFL Clubs’ relationship with our supporters, employees, players and business partners. All personal information received in connection with an AFL or AFL Club product or service, or in the conduct of the AFL’s or AFL Clubs’ business, is therefore treated seriously, having regard to the AFL’s and the AFL Clubs’ legal obligations.
Personal information is information that identifies you or could identify you. The AFL and AFL Clubs are subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles.
3 Information Collected
Generally, the AFL and the AFL Clubs collect personal information directly from you via your use of the products and services on offer, use of AFL Online (defined in paragraph 9 of this Privacy Policy below), if you apply for a position with the AFL or any AFL Club and any registration you make to participate with or receive information from, the AFL or your AFL Club and any business relationship between you and us, including via email. Where we engage with you multiple times over a short period in relation to the same matter, we may not provide you with a separate notice about privacy each time we engage with you however we will provide you with an opportunity to opt–out of receiving communications about that matter within each of those communications.
4 Opt-Out/Unsubscribe
You can easily unsubscribe at any time you want to our communications by contacting us using the contact details specified in paragraph 12 of this Privacy Policy or by following the instructions contained in an e-mail.
It may take some time to put an opt-out or an unsubscribe in effect so you may still receive communications from us for several weeks after your request is received.
For the avoidance of doubt, by opting–out or unsubscribing yourself from a mailing list of an AFL or AFL Club product or service this will ensure your removal from that particular mailing list but will not guarantee your removal from other mailing lists that the AFL or an AFL Club may store your details in as a result of your engagement with a different service or product.
5 Information from Third Parties
During the course of business, the AFL and AFL Clubs may also collect personal information that is given to them by a third party (for example, a corporate partner of the AFL or AFL Clubs or information that is on a publicly maintained record). This information forms part of the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. The AFL and AFL Clubs will not intentionally solicit personal information that is unintentionally disclosed.
We may also receive information about you from third parties in relation to other websites. For example, you may choose to participate in a third party application or feature as part of our services (such as logging in through Facebook Connect or Google+ or otherwise linking to the services from another website or interactive service) or on a third party website or service (such as a Facebook application or a similar application or feature) through which you allow us to collect (or the third party to share) information about you, including personal information. When you choose to participate, you may be opting to link your activity on AFL Online services with that third party website or service, which may then collect information about your visits to AFL Online and may publish that activity as you request to your "profile" or similar feature with that third party (such as if you choose to share content you find on AFL Online with your "connections" on the third party's website or service).
The information we collect is subject to this Privacy Policy. However, the information collected and stored by the third party remains subject to the third party's privacy practices, including whether the third party continues to share information with us or with other third parties, the types of information shared, and your choices with regard to what is visible to others on that third party's website or service. The third party may allow you to remove the application or feature, in which case we will no longer collect information about you through the application or feature, but we may retain the information previously collected. 6 Public Forums, Refer a Friend, and Customer Testimonials
The AFL and AFL Clubs may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on AFL Online or mobile applications. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. The AFL and AFL Clubs are not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.
7 Storage of Personal Information
Wherever reasonably practicable, the AFL and AFL Clubs will store personal information on data servers that are owned and controlled by the AFL and AFL Clubs and are located within the geographical borders of Australia. However, some of your personal information may be transferred, stored, processed, used or disclosed overseas by the AFL or AFL Clubs, or by the AFL's or AFL Clubs' third party service providers. In particular, at the date this Privacy Policy was most recently updated, your personal information may be disclosed to recipients in the USA, Gibraltar, China and other countries from time to time.
This may happen if our service providers are located overseas, or if transactions, information, services or products have an overseas connection. Where such parties are located overseas, you may have rights to enforce such parties' compliance with applicable data protection laws, but you may not have recourse against those parties under the Australian Privacy Act (Cth) 1988 in relation to how those parties treat your personal information.
You agree to the disclosure and use of such personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and consent to its disclosure overseas and its use by third parties, including our service providers, in the USA, Gibraltar, China and such other countries in which those parties or their computer systems may be located from time to time, where it may be used solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, without us being responsible for such use (or for any breach). Where the AFL and AFL Clubs use cloud computing services we will use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that such disclosures are in compliance with Australian privacy laws.
8 Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
The AFL and AFL Clubs collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information for purposes including, without limitation:

Where you provide your personal information directly to one AFL Club, although it may be disclosed to the AFL, that personal information will not ordinarily be shared with a different AFL Club. For example, if in a transaction you purchase merchandise relating to two AFL Clubs, that transaction may be disclosed to both AFL Clubs.
You consent to the AFL and AFL Clubs using your personal information for sending you information, including promotional material, about the AFL or AFL Clubs, or the AFL or AFL Clubs' products and services, as well as the products and services of selected third parties, now and in the future. You also consent to us contacting you with such information by means of direct mail, email, SMS, MMS messages, social media and via telephone.

We engage third parties to perform services in connection with the operation of our business. Examples of these services include payment processing and authorisation, fraud protection and credit risk reduction, product customisation, order fulfilment and shipping, marketing and promotional material distribution, website evaluation, data analysis and, where applicable, data cleansing.

9 Accessing AFL Online
“AFL Online” refers to the AFL website with its top-level domain located at http://www.afl.com.au/, all related sub-domains and any other AFL website (including any AFL Club website) which provides an AFL and AFL Club product, AFL and AFL Club service or AFL-related product or service including related mobile applications. You need not disclose your identity to the AFL or AFL Club in order to visit AFL Online, except where personal information is voluntarily supplied, however the AFL or AFL Club internet server may automatically record details about any computer used to access the website (such as the IP address, domain name and browser type), the date and time of access, and details of the information downloaded. This information is used for internal statistical purposes and to improve AFL Online.

The AFL or AFL Clubs may use “cookies” on AFL Online. A cookie is a small text file that AFL Online may place on your computer. The AFL and AFL Clubs will take reasonable steps to protect all personal information within their direct control from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. The AFL and AFL Clubs will take reasonable steps to hold information securely in electronic or physical form in access controlled premises or in electronic databases requiring logins and passwords.
11 Notifiable Data Breaches Scheme
In the event of any loss, or unauthorised access or disclosure of your personal information that is likely to result in serious harm to you, the AFL and/or AFL Clubs will investigate and notify you and the Australian Information Commissioner as soon as practicable, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
12 Contacting Us Regarding Access, Correction and Privacy Complaints
The privacy laws of some jurisdictions give individuals the right to access, amend or delete their personal information or, in some circumstances, to restrict or object to the processing of their personal information.

Privacy notice - Biometrics Trial
Biometrics is a facial recognition service offered by Perth Airport Pty Ltd (PAPL) to passengers above the age of 16 flying to selected destinations. PAPL does not provide any warranty with regards to the availability of biometrics and reserves the right to withdraw this service at any time, without any liability to passengers.
To participate, passengers will be able to enrol at clearly indicated kiosks to use biometrics at bag drop and boarding. Participation is optional and passengers can skip or discontinue the use of biometrics at any time. Your biometric template is hosted in Australia and will NOT be shared with Airlines.
What information is collected by PAPL and how is it used?
If you decide to participate, we will collect the following personal information directly from you.
At enrolment
Your personal information will be processed to verify your identity through the creation of a biometric template. Your biometric template will be encrypted and stored on a secure server managed by our third-party biometric provider to serve as your unique identifier when using facial recognition services. Once enrolment is completed, any information collected locally and no longer required will be deleted.
At Bag drop and boarding
All the personal information used directly for the biometric services will be automatically deleted from our third-party server within 24 hours after

We rely on the support of Amadeus IT Group SA, a third-party biometric provider, to offer you the Biometric services and therefore need to share your personal information with Amadeus for the purposes described in this section above. Amadeus processes your personal information according to our instructions.

We use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect personal data under our control, prevent privacy-invasive events (e.g., data breach) and identify risks and reduce their impact. Biometrics follows the stringent security review process to ensure compliance to the security controls described in Amadeus Corporate Security Policies & Standards.
