Competition Terms and Conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General
1.1. Information on how to enter and on the prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these conditions, you must not enter.
1.2. The Promoter is Indian Pacific Limited (ABN 31 009 178 894) (trading as West Coast Eagles Football Club) of Mineral Resources Park, 42 Bishopsgate Street, Lathlain, WA, 6100. (Promoter or West Coast Eagles).
1.3. The Sponsor is Mineral Resources Limited (ABN
2. Entry
2.1. The competition commences at 8am AWST on Friday, February 21, 2025, and closes at 9am AWST on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 (Promotion Period).
2.2. During the Promotion Period, entry is open to individuals over the age of 18 who:
a. reside in Western Australia;
b. are the parent or guardian of a child aged between five (5) and eleven (11) years (inclusive) as at the date of completion of the Promotion Period;
c. accurately fill in all of the required data fields in the ‘Win a kids training experience at Mineral Resources Park’ at westcoasteagles.com.au (Entry); and
d. can attend Mineral Resources Park (42 Bishopsgate Street, Lathlain) on Monday, March 31, 2025 between 3pm AWST and 6pm AWST,
(Eligible Entrant).
2.3. Failure to comply with any of the above requirements in clause 2.2 will automatically render an Entry to be invalid.
2.4. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
2.5. Employees and their immediate families, of the Promoter or the Sponsor, related companies of the Promoter or the Sponsor or agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
2.6. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the competition database and not at the time of transmission by the Entrant. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay or failure of transmission of any Entry.
2.7. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used.
2.8. There is a limit of one Entry per person.
2.9. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of an Entry or an entrant, and to disqualify any entrant who manipulates, or attempts to manipulate, the system.
3. Judging:
3.1. The competition is a game of chance and skill plays no part.
3.2. The winner will be the first Eligible Entry selected by the Promoter using an online random number generator (Winner);
3.3. the draw will take place at Mineral Resources Park, 42 Bishopsgate Street, Lathlain WA at 9.00m AWST on Tuesday, March 18, 2025;
3.4. the Winner will be notified by phone and/or email on Tuesday, March 18, 2025;
3.5. the Promoter reserves the right to select reserve entries and record them in the order that they were selected, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant being selected.
3.6. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the Winner. If the Winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours after the drawing date and time, the Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will begin the process of contacting reserve winners who will then become the Winner.
3.7. Once one Winner has been selected and contacted by the Promoter, no further prizes will be awarded.
3.8. The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
4. Prize
4.1. The Winner will receive the prize, which consists of the following elements:
a. A guided tour of the West Coast Eagles facility located at 42 Bishopsgate Street, Lathlain WA on Monday, March 31, 2025 between 3pm AWST and 6pm AWST, for the Winner and three immediate family members by a West Coast Eagles staff member; and
b. the opportunity for their child to participate in the Mineral Resources kids training clinic to be run by selected West Coast Eagles AFL players and staff on the same date,
(collectively the ‘Prize’).
4.2. The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable to another date or person if the Winner is unavailable to attend the Match or use any portion of the Prize. The Prize is not able to be exchanged for cash or alternative benefits. Should the Winner be found to not meet the entry requirements the Prize may be forfeited at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
4.3. the Prize (or any element of the Prize) may not be sold or offered for resale at a premium (including via-online auction sites) or used for advertising, competition or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original recipient or any subsequent bearer. If a Prize is sold or used in breach of this condition the Prize may be withdrawn.
4.4. The total prize value for this competition is $100.00.
5. Risk, Liability and Conduct
5.1. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the Winner provide proof of age and identity prior to awarding the Prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. The Winner may be required to sign any form required by the Promoter including, without limitation, a legal release and indemnity form or a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the Prize.
5.2. The Winner and their guests are required to comply with any and all reasonable requirements and instructions of the Promoter and the Sponsor including without limitation ensuring they:
a. arrive at the meeting point at the time communicated by the Promoter; and
b. are not be dressed in any football apparel other than West Coast Eagles apparel including without limitation, opposition guernseys, scarves, hoodies or face paint;
c. must remain with the West Coast Eagles staff member at all times and comply with all of their instructions; and
d. do not approach or impede any player, coach or official in any way without the approval of the West Coast Eagles.
5.3. Any failure by the Winner, or their guests, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter to comply with its reasonable requirements or instructions may result in forfeiture by the Winner of any part or all of the Prize.
5.4. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs incurred by the Winner (or their guests) in collecting or using the Prize (or any portion of the Prize) including without limitation any damage incurred to the prize after it has been awarded or travel costs to obtain the Prize.
5.5. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies (and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents) will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, claim, action, demand, liability, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever, which is suffered or sustained by any person or entity (without limitation), (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any Prize (or part of the Prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permissible by law).
5.6. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to fraud or causes beyond the control of the Promoter or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition , the Promoter reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition .
5.7. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
6. Your Information
6.1. The Promoter collects personal information about all entrants, whether Eligible Entrants or not, to enable them to participate in this competition and for any other matter connected to or incidental to this purpose and the Promoter may disclose the personal information to third parties including the Sponsor, or the Promoters contractors and agents, suppliers and service providers to assist in conducting this competition or providing the Prize. By registering their interest, entrants agree to the Promoter using and disclosing their personal information for these purposes. If the entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they may be ineligible to enter the competition.
6.2. The Winner (and their guests) consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the Competition, the Match or the relationship with the Sponsor, or for any other related purpose at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
6.3. The entry form will provide entrants with the ability to ‘opt in’ to share and to allow the Promoter to use data. If consent is provided, personal information will be used and may be disclosed by the Promoter for the purposes of carrying out marketing, planning, product development and competition campaigns in any media. By opting in to provide personal information, the entrant (whether an Eligible Entrant or not) agrees to such use by the Promoter.

1 Who Are We
Your privacy is important to the Australian Football League (ABN 97 489 912 318) (AFL) and each of the 18 AFL Clubs listed in paragraph 12 of this Privacy Policy (AFL Clubs). This Privacy Policy provides information about the personal information that the AFL and AFL Clubs collect and the ways in which the AFL and AFL Clubs may use, hold and disclose this personal information.
The AFL may disclose your personal information to AFL Clubs, and AFL Clubs may disclose your personal information to the AFL. Each organisation will collect and use your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
When used in this document, depending on the context, "we," "our" and "us" refers to AFL and/or the AFL Clubs.
2 AFL and AFL Clubs Privacy Policy
Protecting personal information is fundamental to the AFL’s and AFL Clubs’ relationship with our supporters, employees, players and business partners. All personal information received in connection with an AFL or AFL Club product or service, or in the conduct of the AFL’s or AFL Clubs’ business, is therefore treated seriously, having regard to the AFL’s and the AFL Clubs’ legal obligations.
Personal information is information that identifies you or could identify you. The AFL and AFL Clubs are subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles.
3 Information Collected
Generally, the AFL and the AFL Clubs collect personal information directly from you via your use of the products and services on offer, use of AFL Online (defined in paragraph 9 of this Privacy Policy below) and any registration you make to participate with or receive information from, the AFL or your AFL Club and any business relationship between you and us, including via email. 4 Opt-Out/Unsubscribe
You can easily unsubscribe at any time you want to our communications by contacting us using the contact details specified in paragraph 11 of this Privacy Policy or by following the instructions contained in an e-mail.
It may take some time to put an opt-out or an unsubscribe in effect so you may still receive communications from us for several weeks after your request is received.
For the avoidance of doubt, by opting–out or unsubscribing yourself from a mailing list of an AFL or AFL Club product or service this will ensure your removal from that particular mailing list but will not guarantee your removal from other mailing lists that the AFL or an AFL Club may store your details in as a result of your engagement with a different service or product.
5 Information from Third Parties
During the course of business, the AFL and AFL Clubs may also collect personal information that is given to them by a third party (for example, a corporate partner of the AFL or AFL Clubs or information that is on a publicly maintained record). This information forms part of the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. The AFL and AFL Clubs will not intentionally solicit personal information that is unintentionally disclosed.
We may also receive information about you from third parties in relation to other websites. For example, you may choose to participate in a third party application or feature as part of our services (such as logging in through Facebook Connect or Google+ or otherwise linking to the services from another website or interactive service) or on a third party website or service (such as a Facebook application or a similar application or feature) through which you allow us to collect (or the third party to share) information about you, including personal information. The AFL and AFL Clubs may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on AFL Online or mobile applications. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. The AFL and AFL Clubs are not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.
7 Storage of Personal Information
Wherever reasonably practicable, the AFL and AFL Clubs will store personal information on data servers that are owned and controlled by the AFL and AFL Clubs and are located within the geographical borders of Australia. However, some of your personal information may be transferred, stored, processed, used or disclosed overseas by the AFL or AFL Clubs, or by the AFL's or AFL Clubs' third party service providers. In particular, at the date this Privacy Policy was most recently updated, your personal information may be disclosed to recipients in the USA, Gibraltar, China and other countries from time to time.
This may happen if our service providers are located overseas, or if transactions, information, services or products have an overseas connection. Where such parties are located overseas, you may have rights to enforce such parties' compliance with applicable data protection laws, but you may not have recourse against those parties under the Australian Privacy Act (Cth) 1988 in relation to how those parties treat your personal information.

8 Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
The AFL and AFL Clubs collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information for purposes including, without limitation:

Where you provide your personal information directly to one AFL Club, although it may be disclosed to the AFL, that personal information will not ordinarily be shared with a different AFL Club. For example, if in a transaction you purchase merchandise relating to two AFL Clubs, that transaction may be disclosed to both AFL Clubs.
You consent to the AFL and AFL Clubs using your personal information for sending you information, including promotional material, about the AFL or AFL Clubs, or the AFL or AFL Clubs' products and services, as well as the products and services of selected third parties, now and in the future. We engage third parties to perform services in connection with the operation of our business. 9 Accessing AFL Online
“AFL Online” refers to the AFL website with its top-level domain located at http://www.afl.com.au/, all related sub-domains and any other AFL website (including any AFL Club website) which provides an AFL and AFL Club product, AFL and AFL Club service or AFL-related product or service including related mobile applications. You need not disclose your identity to the AFL or AFL Club in order to visit AFL Online, except where personal information is voluntarily supplied, however the AFL or AFL Club internet server may automatically record details about any computer used to access the website (such as the IP address, domain name and browser type), the date and time of access, and details of the information downloaded. This information is used for internal statistical purposes and to improve AFL Online.

The AFL and AFL Clubs will take reasonable steps to protect all personal information within their direct control from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. The AFL and AFL Clubs will take reasonable steps to hold information securely in electronic or physical form in access controlled premises or in electronic databases requiring logins and passwords.
11 Notifiable Data Breaches Scheme
In the event of any loss, or unauthorised access or disclosure of your personal information that is likely to result in serious harm to you, the AFL and/or AFL Clubs will investigate and notify you and the Australian Information Commissioner as soon as practicable, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

The privacy laws of some jurisdictions give individuals the right to access, amend or delete their personal information or, in some circumstances, to restrict or object to the processing of their personal information.

14 Updates to Privacy Policy
