HALIFAX THUNDERBIRDS PRIVACY POLICY
The Halifax Thunderbirds respect the privacy of our customers. This privacy policy is intended to describe for you the information we collect, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices about such uses and disclosures.
Consent
We only collect, use and/or disclose your personal information with your consent. By providing us with your personal information and engaging in a transaction with us, you implicitly consent to our collection and use of your personal information for these identified purposes. We may collect and store any personal information you enter through Contesting, AccountManager, or provide over the phone or email. The information you provide includes identifying information, such as your name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number, and, if you transact business with us, financial information such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information). You also may provide information about your interests and activities, your gender and age, and other demographic information.
Usage
By providing us with your personal information, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as follows:
· to deliver the products and services that you have requested;
· manage your account and provide you with customer support;
· receive mailings and incentives;
· display content and advertising on our website or email communications tailored to your interests, based on database research conducted by the Club;
· verify your eligibility and deliver prizes in connection with contests and sweepstakes you have participated in
If you have indicated an interest in receiving information from the Halifax Thunderbirds by opting-in at the time you entered sweepstakes and/or purchased products or services, we may use your information to communicate with you by e-mail, postal mail, telephone and/or mobile devices about products, services or special offers that may be of interest to you from us.
How we protect your personal information
We take appropriate security measures (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to help safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. For example, only Halifax Thunderbirds employees are permitted to access personal information, and they may do so only to the extent such access is required for permitted business functions. In addition, we use encryption in the transmission and storage of your financial information.
Email Communication Subscriptions
Our email communication subscriptions are as follows: Merchandise Offers, Ticket Information, Game Notes, and Contests & Promotions. You will have the ability to opt out of receiving e-mail communications. The Halifax Thunderbirds have provided a “No Thanks” subscription to ensure you are not solicited by email in any way by the Club. Please ensure all other subscriptions have been de-selected if you chose this option. This can be done with a Thunderbirds representative. However, the Thunderbirds will reserve the right to contact you via email for imperative event information, and customer service-related issues.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We will occasionally update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices and services.
