Life is Beautiful is one of downtown Las Vegas’ biggest annual festivals celebrating Music and Art. Each year, the festival explores a diverse range of musical genres, along with art installations and interactive performances.
One of the main pillars of the festival’s success is its Marketing Manager, Kyle Huender. Huender spearheads the marketing efforts of the festival with a fan-first approach. The team is focused on understanding the audience’s needs and then delivering exactly that to them. All year round, the team runs campaigns to capture data from their fanbase to get to know them better. They have used Tradable Bits’ “Personalized Playlist” and “Lineup Predictor” campaigns to keep their audience engaged during the off-season and to learn about their preferences.
The team strives to push their – and our platform’s – limits to deliver the best experience for their fans. In 2023, Life is Beautiful collaborated with Tradable Bits to launch an “Event Registration” campaign to gate access to a free-with-RSVP event.
Huender emphasizes that this exchange of data should be more than transactional and rather relationship-focused. “You need to give them something equally as valuable as their data or more.” This is reflected in their Golden Ticket Sweepstakes where they collaborated with as many partners as possible to give away a prize worth almost $20,000. Rewards included VIP tickets, plane fares, hotel accommodations, food and beverage vouchers, festival merchandise, etc. This campaign, hosted on Tradable Bits, was a massive success resulting in more than 30K high-quality leads. These are 30K fans they can now directly communicate with to learn more about, reactivate or receive feedback from to improve the festival experience.
As Huender says, “If you truly understand your audience, the message will speak for itself and they will ultimately convert.”
