2025 AFL JUNIOR MASCOT
4/3/25 – 27/8/25
1. General
1.1. Information on how to enter and on the Prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these conditions, you must not enter.
1.2. If under 18 years of age, express permission of a parent/guardian is required before entering this competition.
1.3. The Promoter is Indian Pacific Limited (ABN 31 009 178 894) (trading as West Coast Eagles Football Club) of Mineral Resources Park, 42 Bishopsgate Street, Lathlain, WA, 6100. (Promoter or West Coast Eagles).
2. Entry
2.1. The promotion commences at 9.00am AWST on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 and closes at 5.00pm AWST on Monday, August 18, 2025. (Promotion Period). During the Promotion Period, the competition will be run in the following rounds of the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season (each an Eligible Week):

An Eligible Week runs from 9.01am (AWST) on the Monday following the previous Eligible Week closed and closes at midday on the day of the applicable drawing date and time as set out in the table above.
NOTE: With the dates of fixtures not set beyond Round 14 of the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, the Eligible Week for Rounds 14 and all subsequent rounds will run from 9.01am (AWST) Monday following the previous Eligible Week closes at midday (AWST) on the Friday of that same week.
*Fixtures are subject to change by the AFL without notice.
2.2. In each Eligible Week, entry is open to individuals aged between 5 and 11 who:
a. holds a 2025 membership of the West Coast Eagles Football Club in their own name (for example, a Rick’s Rookies membership)
b. reside in state in which the match is due to be played (for clarity: entrants for Home matches at Optus Stadium must reside in WA; entrants for an Away match at Adelaide Oval must reside in SA, and so on); and
c. accurately complete the requested details in the Junior Mascot competition online entry form at westcoasteagles.com.au or any other such method of entry that is offered by the Promoter at its absolute discretion (Entry),
(Eligible Entrant).
2.3. Failure to comply with any of the above requirements in clause 2.2 will automatically render an Entry to be invalid.
2.4. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
2.5. Employees and their immediate families, of the Promoter, related companies of the Promoter or agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
2.6. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the competition database and not at the time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay or failure of transmission of any Entry.
2.7. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used.
2.8. There is a limit of one Entry per person in each Eligible Week. An Entry will only be valid for the Eligible Week in which it was submitted.
2.9. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of an Entry or an entrant, and to disqualify any entrant who manipulates, or attempts to manipulate, the system.
3. Judging:
3.1. The competition is a game of chance and skill plays no part.
3.2. In each Eligible Week:
a. the winner will be the first Eligible Entry selected by the Promoter using an online random number generator (Winner);
b. the draw will take place at Mineral Resources Park, 42 Bishopsgate Street, Lathlain WA on the drawing date and time set out in the table in clause 2;
c. the Winner will be notified by phone and/or email on the day of the draw;
d. the Promoter reserves the right to select reserve entries and record them in the order that they were selected, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant being selected.
f. 24 hours after the applicable drawing date and time, the Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will begin the process of contacting reserve winners who will then become the Winner.
g. once one Winner has been selected and contacted by the Promoter, no further prizes will be awarded in that Eligible Week.
3.3. The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
4. Prize
4.1. In each Eligible Week, the Winner will receive the prize, which consists of the following:
a. the opportunity to run out onto the ground with the West Coast Eagles AFL team during their official entrance at that match;
b. two (2) tickets for the winner to attend the relevant match; and
c. West Coast Eagles apparel to wear at the match
(Collectively known as the Weekly Prize)
4.2. For Home Matches at Optus Stadium; in each Eligible Week the Winner will be required to meet a nominated West Coast Eagles staff member at the lift area of Lobby 126 at Optus Stadium 45 minutes prior to the start of the Match to be briefed on the team run-out procedure. They must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Following the team run-out, a West Coast Eagles staff member will guide the Winner and their parent/guardian back to Lobby 126.
a. For away matches, details specific to that match will be communicated to the Winner when they are notified of their Prize.
4.3. A Prize (or any element of the Prize) may not be sold or offered for resale at a premium (including via-online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original recipient or any subsequent bearer. If a Prize is sold or used in breach of this condition the Prize may be withdrawn.
4.4. The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable to another date or person if the Winner is unable to attend the applicable Match or use any portion of the Prize. The Prize is not able to be exchanged for cash or alternative benefits. Should the Winner be found to not meet the entry requirements the prize may be forfeited at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
5. Risk, Liability and Conduct
5.1. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the Winner and their parent/guardian provide proof of age and identity prior to awarding the Prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. The Winner’s parent/guardian may be required to sign any form required by the Promoter including, without limitation, a legal release and indemnity form or a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the Prize.
5.2. The Winner is required to comply with any and all reasonable requirements and instructions of the Promoter and/or the AFL including without limitation the following. The Winner:
a. Must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
b. must arrive at the meeting point at the time communicated by the Promoter;
c. must wear the supplied club merchandise and not be dressed in any opposition apparel including without limitation, guernseys, scarves, hoodies or face paint;
d. must remain within any boundaries communicated by the Promoter or the AFL and must enter and exit the field of play in a timely manner and in accordance with all AFL requirements; and
e. must not approach or impede any player, coach or official in any way.
5.3. Any failure by the Winner, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, to comply with its requirements or instructions will result in forfeiture of the Prize.
5.4. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs incurred by any Winner or their parent/guardian in collecting or using the Prize (or any portion of the Prize) including without limitation any damage incurred to the prize after it has been awarded, or travel costs incurred to obtain the Prize or to attend the Match.

5.6. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies (and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents) will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, claim, action, demand, liability, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever, which is suffered or sustained by any person or entity (without limitation), (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any Prize (or part of the Prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permissible by law).
5.7. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to fraud or causes beyond the control of the Promoter or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition , the Promoter reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition .
5.8. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
6. Your Information
6.1. The Promoter collects personal information about all entrants, whether Eligible Entrants or not, to enable them to participate in this competition and for any other matter connected to or incidental to this purpose, and the Promoter may disclose the personal information to third parties including the Sponsor, or the Promoters contractors and agents, suppliers and service providers to assist in conducting this competition or providing the Prize. By registering their interest, entrants agree to the Promoter using and disclosing their personal information for these purposes. If the entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they may be ineligible to enter the competition.
6.2. The Winner and their parent/guardian consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting the Competition, the Match or the relationship with the Sponsor, or for any other related purpose at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
6.3. The entry form will provide entrants with the ability to ‘opt in’ to share and to allow the Promoter to use data. If consent is provided, personal information will be used and may be disclosed by the Promoter for the purposes of carrying out marketing, planning, product development and competition campaigns in any media. By opting in to provide personal information, the entrant (whether an Eligible Entrant or not) agrees to such use by the Promoter.
6.4. All personal information provided will be stored, used and may be disclosed by the West Coast Eagles in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at www.westcoasteagles.com.au/privacy-policy.
