Tradable Bits Weekly Wow Case Study The Vancouver Club Celebrity Bartenders Series Finale

WOW-FACTOR

1 SPECIAL NIGHT where the prestigious Vancouver Club lifted its photography ban to allow guests to capture the exquisite Celebrity Bartender Series Finale and share it with their networks on social media (inducing FOMO everywhere).

THE VANCOUVER CLUB

The Vancouver Club is a business club where members from various industries come to connect, relax and dine with other professionals. Established in 1889, "The Club" is housed in an "A" class heritage building and hosts many exclusive events like the annual Celebrity Bartender Series Finale.

GOAL

Temporarily pausing their photography (and phones) ban, the Vancouver Club needed a way to remind its members to capture and post their Celebrity Bartender Series Finale on social media. They wanted to tactfully promote their official hashtag to extend the otherwise exclusive event beyond the venue walls, all while maintaining a classy ambiance.

SOLUTION

With one subtle screen, The Vancouver Club gently inspired their attendees to share their experience of the Celebrity Bartender Series Finale with their social networks. Stream silently worked in the background, collecting all social posts from the event and automatically moderating the incoming content. The best photos from the most influential attendees were projected alongside their official hashtag on a beautiful screen, contributing to the sophisticated yet social atmosphere. Not only did the Stream add to the event aesthetic, it helped The Club calculate the exact social reach of the attendees' social media contributions.
